Our Doctor
Dr. Timothy B Scott., DDS
Dr. Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1997. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association and the Central District Dental Society.
He has been proudly serving the Saline County area since 2001.
By actively expanding his knowledge through continuing education classes, Dr. Scott stays up-to-date on dentistry’s many advancements in order to focus his practice toward leading edge dentistry for all ages. This ensures his patients get the quality treatment they deserve.
When not in the office or attending a continuing education class, Dr. Scott is an active outdoor photographer, woodworker, and avid Razorbacks fan. Woo Pig Sooie!!!
Our Team
Joycelyn, Registered Dental Assistant
Joycelyn grew up in Houston, Texas and has called Arkansas home for the past eight years. She holds an Associate of Science degree and earned her Dental Assisting certification from Concord Dental Assisting School. Patients appreciate Joycelyn’s outgoing personality and gentle touch that help them feel comfortable and at ease during their visits.
Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, and reading. Her family includes her two daughters, Jada and Londyn, and their sweet dog, Dollar.
Tina, Treatment Coordinator
Tina is a proud native of White Hall, Arkansas. She attended the University of Central Arkansas, earning a double major in Chemistry and Biology. Tina has been part of Dr. Scott’s team since the practice first opened in 2001.
As a Registered Dental Assistant, Treatment Coordinator, and Sleep Apnea Coordinator, Tina plays an essential role in ensuring each patient’s visit runs smoothly, she’s truly Dr. Scott’s right hand!
Outside the office, Tina enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, their three dogs, and especially loves spoiling her grandkids. Her extensive dental experience, friendly personality, and genuine care for others make her a favorite among our patients.
Melissa, Registered Dental Assistant
Melissa is originally from West Palm Beach, Florida. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree and is a Registered Dental Assistant.
With her calm and pleasant demeanor, Melissa helps patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visits. She’s never here to judge—her goal is simply to help every patient achieve a beautiful, healthy smile.Melissa loves getting to know her patients and takes pride in creating a welcoming, stress-free dental experience for everyone she meets.
Outside the office, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Wayne, and their grown children, Amber and Blake. She’s also a proud pet mom to three beloved fur babies—Maggie, Rocky, and Sissy.
Taylor, Registered Dental Hygienist
Taylor grew up in Benton, Arkansas and earned a degree in Dental Hygiene from UAMS. Known for her gentle touch and personable nature, she helps patients feel comfortable and cared for at every visit.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, as well as racing cars. At home, she and her husband stay busy with their four energetic beagles.
Abby, Registered Dental Hygienist
Abby Hughes was born and raised in Saline County. She began her education at Henderson State University, where she earned her Associate’s Degree in Health Sciences, and later continued her studies at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene with her local anesthesia permit.
Known for her great attention to detail, Abby is both thorough and gentle in her care. She has a passion for educating patients about the importance of oral hygiene and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Outside of the office, Abby enjoys spending time outdoors hunting with her husband, Braden, and staying active at McClure Fitness. She also runs her own shirt business on the side and proudly stands out as a left-handed hygienist—a fun and unique part of who she is!
Rachel, Registered Dental Hygienist
Rachel was born and raised in Kenya, Africa, in a missionary family. After returning to the United States, she earned her Dental Hygiene degree in Springfield, Missouri, in 2005. Throughout her career, she has practiced dental hygiene in Missouri, Texas, and now Arkansas. In addition to her time in dentistry, Rachel also spent several years serving in church ministry in the Philippines—a reflection of her lifelong passion for helping others.
Rachel loves the way her work combines her care for people with her commitment to healthy smiles. Her favorite part of each day is building relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident during their visits. She enjoys educating and encouraging patients along their dental journey, making dentistry easy to understand—and maybe even a
little less intimidating—so they can make the best choices for their oral health.
Outside the office, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and their two Mini Schnauzers, Ozzie and Dizzy—named after her favorite St. Louis Cardinals players. She’s a foodie with a soft spot for chocolate desserts, a game enthusiast who loves her monthly Bunco nights, and an active member of her church community. You might also spot her and her husband cruising around town in their bright red ’57 Chevy Bel Air—a classic she’s grown to
love far more than she ever expected!
Jade, Registered Dental Assistant
Jade is a proud native of Benton and a graduate of the Dental Assistant program at Eastern College of Health. She joined Scott Family Dentistry in 2014 and has been an essential part of the team ever since.
Known for her extensive knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine care for her patients, Jade is dedicated to making every visit comfortable and ensuring each patient leaves with results they love.
Outside the office, Jade enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and their lovable doodle, Maggie. She enjoys hiking, reading, and—while she may not always love working out—she definitely appreciates the feeling and results afterward!
Amanda, Registered Dental Assistant
Amanda is originally from Puerto Rico and has called Benton home for over 20 years. With more than 30 years of dental assisting experience, she joined Scott Family Dentistry in 2018 and quickly became an invaluable member of the team. Whether she’s assisting chairside, helping at the front desk, or tackling one of the many behind-the-scenes tasks that keep the office running smoothly, Amanda brings skill, dedication, and a warm, friendly attitude to everything she does.
Outside the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, Kelly, their son, Taylor, and their daughter, Kayleigh, who is currently in nursing school. She also loves relaxing at the beach, taking Jeep rides on nice days, and hanging out with her two dogs, Ozzy and Lexi.
Amanda’s extensive experience and upbeat personality make her a true asset to the practice and a favorite among patients and team members alike.
Gabe,
Lab Technician/Registered Dental Assistant
Gabe is originally from Vandale, Arkansas, and is a graduate of the Central Arkansas School of
Dental Assisting. Since joining Scott Family Dentistry, he has quickly become a patient favorite
thanks to his gentle touch, attention to detail, and outgoing personality.
A self-proclaimed tech enthusiast, Gabe has mastered the use of our state-of-the-art dental technology—including our crown and bridge mill, 3D printer, and digital design systems. His skill and precision ensure that every patient receives restorations with an exceptional fit and beautiful esthetics.
When he’s not in the lab or working with patients, Gabe enjoys spending time with his wife, Jordan, their daughter, Gemma, and their two dogs, Sugar and Chloe. He also loves relaxing with family and friends whenever he gets the chance.
Our Front Office Staff
Kim, Receptionist
Kim is originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, and brings over 12 years of customer service experience to our team. Her warm smile, friendly personality, and positive attitude help every patient feel comfortable and welcome from the moment they walk through the door. Kim holds an Associate of Arts degree and is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our patients, ensuring that their first impression is always a great one.
Outside the office, Kim enjoys camping, riding motorcycles, spending weekends with her husband, Shawn, and listening to live music. She also loves working out and getting in a good ride on her Peloton bike. Kim and Shawn are proud “dog parents” to two spoiled French Bulldogs who bring lots of love and laughter to their home.
Wade, Insurance Coordinator
Wade is Dr. Scott’s Office Manager and the insurance expert of the practice. Originally from Jessieville, Arkansas, he earned his Business Management degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 1992 and joined the team in 2004.
Known as the go-to guy for all things financial, Wade helps patients navigate their insurance, CareCredit, and other 0% financing options - making quality dental care accessible and stress-free.
Outside the office, Wade enjoys fishing, attending gun shows, and spending time on the family farm, where he likes tinkering with cars and keeping the equipment running smoothly.
Wade’s dedication, experience, and easygoing nature make him an invaluable part of the team and a trusted resource for our patients.
